In this day and age life has become so fast paced that sometimes we forget to stop and take a breath once in a while and focus on what is really important in life - life itself. It is too easy to put too much importance on what will happen tomorow or next week or sit worrying about how we could have done better yesterday or last year. We hardly ever think about the most valuable thing we have, the only thing we have, which is right now, this moment. What is happening right now? Have you stopped and looked at a flower today? Or sat and watched a bird as it soared through the sky? When was the last time you were at the beach just watching the waves crash against the shore, thinking nothing but of the waves? Perhaps this is a little idealistic, but at least sometimes we can slow our mind down a little and take in that which is most precious for a moment - life, right now!
To quote the late, great Doglas Adams, The ultimate answer to the question of life, the universe and everything is 42. But what does that mean? For those of you that are familiar with "The Hitchhikers Guide", You will know that Douglas Adams suggested that the earth and everyone on it was created as a super computer for the sole purpose purpose of exactly that, to calculate the ultimate question to the ultimate answer and figure out what 42 meant and ultimately what the meaning of life was.
In old trucker CB language, the radio code 10-42 means "keep on trucking". So if the ultimate answer is 42, then no matter what happens in life, just keep on keeping on!
Throughout life we all seem to be searching for something and the more we search, the more it seems that we need to find. We only need to realize that we are already complete and never needed to search for anything in the first place. It is the identities that we take on that have holes in them and that is the reason for feeling that we are incomplete. The definition of unhappiness is "Wanting what we haven't got". Therefore the definition af true happiness is "Learning to want what we already have".
I have been through a lot in my life, dealing with physical, psychological and emotional issues. I know that everyone has their own issues and we all have to do the best we can with them. On my path to working out my issues, I have gained much in the way of knowledge and information that is very helpful. People seem to be drawn to me that I find I can help in some way or other with the information that I have. Or maybe I look for people that I can help, however it works. I have become a teacher, councellor, listener and friend to anyone that needs my help. I am open to any topic and nothing scares me so don't be afraid to ask any question about anything. If there is something that you would like to keep private and not post here, feel welcome to send me a confidential message.
As far as religeon goes, I am not heavily into any particular religeon but I know the basics of most of them and will discuss any of them.
I feel that it has become my calling to help as many people as I can and this is why I have set up this group. I hope that we can all help each other.

The meaning of life is not somewhere else, somewhere distant; it is right here, just with you.
Most people see themselves as separate from reality; always thinking about something, unable to free their minds from nothing else but their own thoughts. But if you just take a break, take a look around you, your own thinking is the only thing that binds you - the world continues to move along naturally; so why are you feeling upset about it? If you want a chicken to be a duck, and want a duck to be a chicken, you will not find happiness.
Your Life is in the moment; not later, not before; look into your heart and you will find peace and happiness.
